Come on, admit it. While many of us often claim that we are brave and are not afraid of anything, it’s likely we’ll go weak at the knees when faced with a rollercoaster.

Still like to think of yourself as a thrill seeker? What about taking a seat on the world’s tallest rollercoaster? The “Skyscraper” is set to arrive in Orlando, Florida in 2017, built as part of the “Skyplex” entertainment complex.

Initial plans state the rollercoaster will reach 570ft high and those brave enough to test their nerve on the ride will be sent flying around the building at speeds of up to 65mph.

Delivered by Mango's Tropical Cafe and US Thrill Rides, the site located at International Drive is soon to become a $250 million, 495,000-square-foot Skyplex development with a rollercoaster wrapping around the building. There will also be an observation tower attraction at the very top of the property, as well as a restaurant.

“The Skyscraper” was unveiled at the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions Expo with a digitally created ride-along video. It shows the ride beginning inside the building before heading outside and winding itself around the Skyplex.

Bill Kitchen, founder of US Thrill Rides and creator of the Polercoaster, said the ride will have inside and outside loops, dives, spirals and inversions, all delivered as part of a vertical construction with a horizontal section.

“Skyscraper will not only take riders higher than ever before, but also introduce one thrill right after the next — there’s no ‘down time’ on this four-minute coaster experience,” said Michael Kitchen, son of Bill and the president of US Thrill Rides. “It is an absolute cutting-edge engineering marvel that will deliver pure adrenaline unlike any roller coaster in the world today.”

It is expected to be another top attraction for Orlando, Florida; an area that is already so synonymous with excitement and entertainment.

Skyplex is also set to offer the area’s largest indoor theme park, as well as an arcade, various simulators, rock-climbing walls, bars, and a number of other attractions. ADNFCR-2867-ID-801761056-ADNFCR
