Colombian robbers find out crime doesn’t bray

If you are going to try to commit a robbery, you better make sure you have a good getaway plan.

However, a trio of clueless Colombian criminals had to ditch their ill-gotten gains after the donkey they were using to escape the scene of their crime started braying.

After having nicked rum, oil, rice, cans of tuna and sardines, the men were left aghast as the animal kept making its familiar hee-haw noise.

This proved to be enough to alert the local police of the robbery and so they were soon on the scene, which forced the men to ditch the donkey and make a run for it.

Unsurprisingly, this did not work out too well for them and all of the goods were successfully recovered by the law.

It just goes to show you how important it is to think about your exit strategy, as no one wants to be left red-faced by committing a truly stupid robbery.
