Cheryl Cole – the world’s sexiest woman

Single soldiers have no doubt spent a fair amount of time thinking about who they would consider to be the sexiest woman in the world.

But British beauty Cheryl Cole has clinched the number one spot in FHM magazine’s Sexiest Woman in the World poll for the second year in a row.

The gorgeous Geordie beat off stiff competition from the likes of Megan Fox, Kelly Brook and Jessica Alba to land in the top spot.

Colin Kennedy, editor in chief of the magazine, said: "That other election might be a close-run thing but this equally important poll was so one-sided this year that some bookies have already paid out on Cheryl."

Over one million blokes voted to propel Chezza to the top of the charts, followed by screen siren Megan Fox in second place and model Marissa Miller coming third.

It would appear the soon-to-be Miss Tweedy is equally popular with the fairer sex, as she was recently voted by Glamour readers as the world’s best-dressed woman.
