A calendar with a difference has been launched to raise money for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).
All of the 12 women featured in the product are wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of active Royal Marines.
Becci Banfield and Lois Powell dreamt up the idea for the photo diary after they initially sent pictures to their respective partners, who were stationed in Afghanistan.
The pair then advertised for another ten girls on Facebook and whittled down the final applicants from 55.
Ms Banfield noted it was very hard picking who would get to be in the calendar as all of the entrants were beautiful.
An initial print of 1,000 has been made and the ladies hope to collect as much money as possible for the RMCTF – which is looking to raise £6 million by 2014.
This is because it will be the 350th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Marines.
