A vintage car rally held this month has raised hundreds of pounds for Help for Heroes, while allowing many people to indulge in their passion.
The Marque in the Park event was organised by the Rotary Club of Bath West and held at Alice Park in Lambridge earlier in September, reports the Bath Chronicle.
Russell Wendover, a member of the Rotary Club in the region, arranged for as much money as possible to be donated to the charity in accordance with the rally.
Locals came out to support the event and Councillor Neil Butters, chairman of Bath and North East Somerset Council, is just one person to have been pictured making a donation.
Many members of the club are said to be keen vintage car enthusiasts, so holding a rally was the obvious way to raise funds.
The money raised will be used by Help for Heroes to continue its work in supporting servicemen who are injured or wounded in combat.
