Burglar’s loose jeans get him caught

Sometimes criminals are so daft that it scares me.

You'd think they would at least make sure they had a plan in place, but it seems many of them act on a whim and are ill-prepared for thefts – often with hilarious consequences.

A burglar in London managed to get himself caught after his low-slung jeans ended up becoming too much of a problem.

Harry Robbins, a bus passenger who saw the incident, told the Hornsey Journal: "As he wasn't wearing a belt he managed to make his own trousers fall down. He managed to moon the entire district. It certainly provided plenty of amusement for us!"

The male had been travelling in a car that was stopped by police before he tried to make a run for it.

However, his slacks were so loose that he wasn't able to pick up any pace and was promptly caught by officers and arrested.
