A cyclist in Bristol has been busy preparing for his upcoming challenge that is in aid of Help for Heroes.
John Billitteri is due to ride his bike from Bristol to London on June 2nd, and as a warm-up he decided to pedal from his home city to Weston-super-Mare, reports the Bristol Post.
Experienced cyclist Matt Knight joined him on the practice run and may have been able to pass on a number of useful tips that will help Mr Billitteri when he heads to the capital next month.
He became a keen supporter of Help for Heroes in 2008 when his daughter appeared on The X Factor and sang on a single designed to raise money for the charity.
Mr Billitteri has plenty of experience when it comes to carrying out difficult challenges for charity, as he has previously completed a seven-day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro and a tandem skydive.
