Boy racer’s car gets put up a tree

Boy racers can be a real scourge on any community, constantly keeping people awake with their reckless driving.

However, one street in Lubczyna, Poland, has taken a novel approach to dealing with the situation.

Fed up with the antics of Zbigniew Filo, they took out their own form of restorative justice and put his car up a tree.

Although no one has come forward and claimed responsibility for the act, one neighbour of Mr Filo's said: "Perhaps he'll think twice about his hair-raising driving and about getting a licence or who knows where his next car might end up?"

The 24-year-old, who was presumably very angry at finding his vehicle stuck in a tree, stated: "I get the message, but I think it was a bit harsh."

Without a doubt the best part of the story is that after Mr Filo called the police, they instructed him that it was his responsibility to make sure the car was taken down.
