Bear waves back at tourist

I'm a big animal fan and I love a good trip to the zoo.

Sometimes the creatures can be more engaging than others but a clip from a Washington animal sanctuary has made me think I'm heading to the wrong location.

It shows a young girl waving at a grizzly bear and incredibly, the beast waved right back at her.

Most people are terrified of the animals and I've seen enough nature programmes to know they can do some serious damage in the wild, but it seems if you catch them on a good day they are up for a bit of fun.

The sanctuary is called the Olympic Game Farm and most of the creatures in it are former performers for the big screen.

Because of this, they may be a bit more settled around humans and this could explain why this bear was able to master the wave.
