Brave soldiers injured while serving their country could receive more support following the efforts of two 17-year-olds from Greater London, who are organising a music night.
According to the Richmond and Twickenham Times, Tom Jackson and Alex Bridle will take over St Paul's Cathedral in the centre of the capital to put on Went The Day Well?, featuring choral music and a solo piece by Ben Parry.
The night will raise money for forces charity Help for Heroes and will be followed by the pair embarking on a cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, with the hope of collecting £50,000 for the charity.
Mr Jackson said: "It feels pretty amazing [to be doing this] and we have to thank St Paul's so much."
Devon fire crews recently told BBC News that they will take part in a range of fundraising activities to generate money for Help for Heroes.
