Bakers in Essex are being invited to get to work in the kitchen in a bid to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The military charity is hosting a colossal cake sale on April 20th and needs as many people in Clacton to participate as possible if the event is to be a roaring success.
Organiser Paul Ballard told the Clacton Gazette: "We again would like the lovely people of Tendring to bake cakes etc for us to sell and raise funds for Help for Heroes."
He noted the ultimate aim is to make this cake sale, the third the charity has hosted in the area, just as successful as the previous two.
The colossal cake sale will take place on Clacton's Christmas Tree Island between 09:00 and 16:30 BST on Saturday week.
All the cash raised will go towards supporting injured servicemen and their families upon their return to the UK.
