A fundraising concert featuring members of the military is set to generate funds for the Help for Heroes charity.
The gig will take place on Friday October 28th and musicians from the Army Cadet Force, the Sea Cadets, the Air Training Corps and the Band and Bugles of the Rifles are taking part, Your Local Guardian reports.
It is a celebration of 150 years of the cadet movement and will also feature opera star Wynne Evans – perhaps best known for his portrayal of a moustachioed singer in the Go Compare television adverts.
He will perform the 1917 US patriotic wartime song Over There – on which the ads are based – at the event.
Organiser Colour Sergeant Adrian Beckett said: "We are hoping a lot of people will come on the night – it's going to be a great evening."
Lynn News recently reported The New Seekers are going to play at a concert at Lynn Corn Exchange, which is being held to support Help for Heroes.
