I'm not one to usually skip any ride when enjoying a day out at a theme park, but I might have to think twice before going on a new ride opened at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Named the Cliffhanger, the imposing structure is sat atop an Iron Mountain cliff and is set on a base elevation of 7,000 feet.
The newly-opened rollercoaster is the tallest in the world and adrenaline junkies rushed to the park in order to be among the first to sample its thrills and spills when it opened on Friday (June 15th).
Kelly Bates, maintenance manager at the attraction, told KJCT8.com: "We hope it's going to be a game changer to our park."
Those brave enough to give the Cliffhanger a go will be treated to panoramic views of the Glenwood Canyon and the Roaring Fork Valley, while the Colorado River can be just about be seen 1,500 feet below.
