More than 1,000 film fans took part in the poll, which included questions on their most anticipated motion pictures and performances in 2011.
Female cinema lovers chose Penelope Cruz – set to star in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stanger Tides – as their number one luscious lady.
Portman recently hit the headlines when movie bosses employed digital technology to help cover up her skimpy thong in upcoming comedy Your Highness.
