A talent competition is being held in an attempt to raise money for brave troops injured while serving their country.
Aspiring performers could pocket themselves £3,000 if they are victorious in the Grand Talent Trail, which is generating funds for the Help for Heroes cause, the Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News reports.
Contestants will need to pay a £5 entry fee – which will be donated to the charity – to be in with a chance of reaching the contest's final.
It is being held at St George's Concert Hall in Liverpool and one of the guest judges will be Marjorie Barlow – the mother of Take That star Gary Barlow.
Auditions are to take place in early January next year.
Seven-year-old Rhys Abernethy from Cockermouth in Cumbria recently raised £350 for Help for Heroes.
The youngster swam over a mile in his local pool on Remembrance Sunday (November 13th) and appealed for sponsorship from friends and family.
