Footballers from the north-east teed off for a round of golf to raise money for Help for Heroes and support Armed Forces this month.
Players from the region, including Rob Lee, John Beresford and Craig Hignett and others from Newcastle United and Middlesbrough football clubs, helped raise £3,000 for the charity.
Golfers from dozens of businesses joined in the annual event, held at Slaley Hall near Hexham, organised by Crutes law firm.
"This year we decided to take the opportunity to raise money for Help for Heroes," said Crutes managing partner Helen Ager.
The firm also raised money for the charity through office raffles and other activities.
Help for Heroes recently benefited from a ten-mile walking event in the Malvern Hills this month.
Around 250 people put their best foot forward and braved the elements to raise £10,000 and event organiser Dave Lewis described the spectacle as absolutely brilliant, the Malvern Gazette News reported.
