A family fundraiser is being held to raise money for a charity that supports injured troops.
The event will see a revival of the traditional community fair and it is taking place in Wood Green today (August 13th), the Haringey Independent reports.
It has been organised by Haringey's Safer Transport Team and all the proceeds are to go to Help for Heroes.
Emergency services will be in attendance and they aim to teach children how to stay safe in the summer months.
Richard Scrivener, manager of Tottenham Fire Station, commented: "We want people to have a great day out but also to understand the dangers of fire and why it is essential to have a working smoke alarm."
Attractions at the get-together include inflatable Quasar and an army assault course.
It was recently reported the Nag's Head pub in Scalby is to hold a musical celebration to raise funds for Help for Heroes.
The gathering is called Nags Fest and will stretch across nine hours.
