And that’s exactly what partygoers in Somerset did recently.

The Weston, Worle and Somerset Mercury reported that a staggering £4,000 was raised for the Help for Heroes charity by revellers getting their groove on at an evening of dance and music in Nailsea.

Over 200 people were entertained by the likes of the Bristol Male Voice Choir and dance group Jazz on Tap, helping to surpass the fundraising target of £3,000.

Iris Clutterbuck, concert organiser, said: "I’m so thankful to everyone who helped out, whether it was performing or donating their money to such a worthwhile cause."

Meanwhile, the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald reported that survival expert Bear Grylls recently took part in a 14-mile run to help raise cash for Help for Heroes.
