Help for Heroes is set to benefit from a gig that is being put on in Milton Keynes later this week.
Sophie Baczynski and Jimi Sweeting have arranged the concert in a bid to put a dent in their £8,000 fundraising target to help the charity, reports the Leighton Buzzard Observer.
Later this year, they will take part in a ten-day trek along the Inca Trail, heading more than 4,000 metres into the mountains, also for the charity.
They are hoping to edge towards their cash target through a series of events in the build-up to that trek, and the Milton Keynes concert is just the first.
The Rusty Gs will appear alongside Scandinavian rockers Sacramental and English groups Birdey and Death And The Miser at the Kiln Farm pub in Keller Close on Thursday (March 20th).
Ms Baczynski said: "We chose Help for Heroes as we truly believe what they do is amazing, and as someone born missing a limb, I can relate to those affected."
