Female single soldiers taking part in army dating over the holiday season should lay down some ground rules for successful nights out, according to a relationship expert.
Writing for the Huffington Post, Laura Trice said that honesty is the best policy and that if a man lies he should be scratched off any list of would-be boyfriends.
She went on to say that if possible, dating should take place without alcohol and during the day, when women are more likely to be more rested and can focus on chemistry and compatibility.
Ms Trice added: "If you have great chemistry but are not compatible, you will have good sex but argue all the time.
"If you are extremely compatible but do not have chemistry, you will be like brother and sister."
Earlier this week, relationship expert Dr Gian Gonzaga said that single people should not be afraid of going out alone and meeting new people over the holiday season.
