Calling someone can be a good move as it is a little more personal than relying on online messages, but remember to withhold your phone number at first, until you are sure you like the person you are talking to.

When it comes to meeting up in person for the first time, you should not ever agree to visiting someone's home. Instead, make sure your initial date is in a public place where you can get to know the individual.

Online dating is a wonderful platform and will put you in touch with many people you would otherwise have never met, but you should stick to the rules to ensure you only meet those you will enjoy being with.
