‘Swags’ raise £26,000 with cheeky nude calendar

A group of charitable ‘swags’ (service wives and girlfriends) have got together to show their support for their men who are serving on the frontline in war-torn countries by producing a cheeky naked calendar.

The risque shots – where the 50 participants’ modesty is only protected by a few strategically placed guns and tanks – have already helped to raise a fantastic £26,000 for the Help for Heroes charity, the Daily Mail reports.

Lisa Fellows-Patel, who features on the April page of the calendar, has a friend who is currently posted in Afghanistan. She says she felt the only way she could support him was to get involved with charity work for Help for Heroes.

"The night before I was extremely nervous, but told myself that if the armed forces are overseas fighting on my behalf I would have the courage to get naked and do my bit," she explains.

Meanwhile, a group of sexy female soldiers currently serving in north Helmand, recently appeared on the front cover of Country Life magazine in a Girls Aloud-style shoot.
