White T-shirt and jeans ‘is most attractive outfit’

Picking something out of the wardrobe that will look great is a must when you are preparing for a first date.

This may never have been as vital if you have agreed to meet someone from an online dating site, as they will never have set eyes on you before.

As such, turning up in an outfit that is both stylish and attractive should be your priority, as it may go some way to impressing your date and making her realise you are Mr Right.

New research commissioned to mark the Blu-ray release of the James Dean Ultimate Collector's Edition has found 43 per cent of British women think the best attire a man can choose is a classic white T-shirt and jeans.

This view seems to be backed up by men themselves, with more than a third stating they would happily wear this combination for the rest of their lives.
