The people of Sleaford have come together to raise money for Help for Heroes at a special music night in the town.
Sleaford Legionnaires Club hosted its annual Help for Heroes Charity Music Night earlier this month and more than £2,000 was raised as a result, reports the Sleaford Standard.
George Cowell was the first act to take to the stage on the night, playing an acoustic set that went down well with revellers. He was followed by Laura Jonuska and her accompanist Steve Clark, who played their violins.
An energetic performance was given by Unblinkered, who were followed by Superbus and their two-hour set of everything from 1960s hits to modern tunes, which had the crowd dancing energetically.
Organiser Steve Wiles said: "For the fourth year running this evening has been a success and it's been down to the efforts of many personnel that over £2,000 has been raised."
