One example of a celebrity who could be giving online dating a go is Lindsay Lohan, who left some clues about the practice in a recent social media update.
Lohan posted a picture to her Instagram account showing the online dating profile of her brother Michael, accompanied by the caption: "Look who I just found on the @Tinderapp… hey bro."
However, the site Michael Lohan was using requires people to sign up and create an account of their own before they can browse other profiles, indicating Lohan herself is looking online for a partner.
What's more, the image shows she had messages waiting for her, suggesting she has been an active user of online dating sites for a little while.
