A group of six tattoo artists have come together to hatch a plan that they hope will result in plenty of money being raised for Help for Heroes.
The tattooists will spend a day next month inking designs on to people's skin, with the proceeds being donated to the charity, reports the North Devon Journal.
14 Tattooing in Ilfracombe will be the setting for the event and each tattoo will cost £20, with a host of options having already been drawn up by the experts.
Although only the list of tattoos drawn up by the artists will be available on the day, people who fancy some new body art have been told they can alter the colours if they so wish.
Claire Hillman, who has organised the event, said: "We chose the charity because of recent events in the news and because we have an awful lot of military workers who get tattooed in here."
