A war veteran has confirmed he is to have his entire back tattooed in order to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.
Keith Stevens, 46, of Luton is to have a unique design that pays homage to the armed forces inked across his back, reports Luton Today.
It is expected to take between 12 and 15 hours to complete and will be the work of local tattooist Matty Ainsworth.
"Matty's family has a long military background, including his grandfather's involvement in the D-Day landings, so I know he has the utmost respect for the armed forces," Mr Stevens explained.
He went on to note that he trusts the tattooist to come up with a design that is unique and spectacular.
People are being invited to sponsor Mr Stevens for being willing to have a military-themed tattoo added to his skin, and the money will go towards helping war veterans.
