A keen runner has used his skills to raise money for Help for Heroes in a particularly unusual way.
Richard Kell opted to run between the sets of some of the UK's most popular soaps, with the total distance meaning he ran the equivalent of two marathons a day for a week, reports Comet 24.
Mr Kell began his challenge when he arrived at Elstree, the home of EastEnders, before he rain north to visit Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks.
"I got there in the end but it was really tough, at one point my feet and legs were swollen. Everything is so much smaller than what you see on screen," Mr Kell explained.
Over the course of the run, he covered some 300 miles and met several soap stars, including Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in EastEnders.
Mr Kell is aiming to raise £100,000 for military charity Help for Heroes.
