Police in India have taken the unusual step of having to arrest three goats, after the animals were the subject of an accusation that they had damaged a police vehicle.
Law enforcement officials became more and more annoyed with the damage being caused by the goats, until they finally snapped and placed them under arrest.
It is said that the final straw came when the creatures inflicted dents and scratches on a brand new police car, with the windscreen wipers and glass said to have been damaged, the Times of India told.
Local authorities were called to the scene and they quickly identified the goats' owner as Mary Arogynathan, 37, who had a complaint filed against her.
Police locked the goats in a cage to ensure they could not do any more damage to their surroundings, before later allowing them to be released to be looked after by the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
