The Help for Heroes Hero Ride is due to take place this weekend, and one of the most famous names taking part is set to be former Bath and England rugby skipper Phil de Glanville.
De Glanville played for the West Country outfit for 12 years, while also picking up 34 England caps along the way, and he will join friend Huw Bunn for a leg of the national cycle ride, reports the Bath Chronicle.
Riders from all around the UK are tackling cycling challenges in a bid to raise money for the charity, with the initial aim to create a fund of £2 million.
Mr Bunn stated: "I think the more people who get involved across the country the better and obviously it's better for us in terms of fundraising so I would encourage as many people as possible to show their support."
Wounded servicemen Harry Long and Ben Deacon, both of whom are from the Bath area, will also join the ride.
