Stay away from Devon if you want a faithful relationship

Single soldiers looking for love might be wise to stay away from Devon if they are looking for a faithful relationship, as the county has been named as the place where the most adulterers live.

A staggering 47 per cent of people in Devon are currently playing away from home, a new survey by OnePoll found.

But it’s not just those living by the sea who find it hard to stay faithful – residents of Avon and Lincolnshire were equally as scandalous, with 19 per cent and 12.5 per cent respectively admitting to cheating on their partners.

Single soldiers who are looking for a monogamous relationship may wish to head to Surrey, as residents of the county were the most saintly in England, with under one per cent saying they are currently involved in an extra-marital affair.

A recent study by confetti.co.uk revealed that two years, 11 months and eight days into a marriage is the happiest time for couples.

It looks like it’s all downhill from there if you have the misfortune of living in Devon.
