Has Britney Spears turned to online dating to find Mr Right?

Pop star Britney Spears has seemingly become the latest high-profile celebrity to sign up to online dating in a bid to find a new partner.

The National Enquirer has claimed the Toxic singer has moved on from her split from Jason Trawick by trawling the web to secure Mr Right.

"She doesn't have the courage to go on any dates yet, but she's doing a lot of anonymous flirting," a friend told the news source, adding: "She's found a few guys she thinks are hot."

Friends and family of the singer and US X Factor judge think her subscription to online dating sites is great news, as it means she is putting her split from Trawick to the back of her mind.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, now could be the best time of all to sign up to internet dating and give the web a chance to deliver the perfect partner.
