Ouch! Woman gets her lover’s name tattooed on her face

People carry out all kinds of crazy stunts in order to show their love for one another.

Whether it is staging elaborate proposals or making promises to spend the rest of their lives together, lovers are always keen to show their devotion.

However, a Russian woman known only as Layla has gone further than most, as she has had the name of her boyfriend tattooed across her face in five inch letters.

What makes the situation even more bizarre is that lady only met her partner – tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz – 24 hours before having the inking done.

The woman said of the decision to have Rouslan tattooed on her face: "It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body."

Mr Toumaniantz has previous for this kind of thing, as he got into trouble back in 2009 for tattooing stars on half of Kimberley Vlaeminck's face.
