Scottish whisky maker Glengoyne has raised £15,000 for Help for Heroes (H4H).
The money was collected at two separate events held last year and will make a significant difference to the lives of injured soldiers in the UK.
As well as hosting a gala dinner ahead of the Calcutta Cup rugby union match between Scotland and England, a golf tournament was organised in August, the Grocer reports.
Cash was also collected through the sale of a limited-edition blend from 1990 – the Glengoyne Auld Enemy Dram.
In order to further boost this total, a dinner is taking place today (February 1st) in London at the Dorchester Hotel.
Tim Grantham from H4H was on hand to receive a check from the whisky maker.
It is not the only drinks manufacturer looking to raise money for H4H, as last year Bell's brought out a limited-edition bottle in an effort to collect £1 million for the organisation.
