Online dating is a medium that should be recommended to anyone who is looking to find love.
Chanel Neufville, a senior English education student from Miami, said she had a relationship that lasted for two years after meeting someone on the web.
Speaking to the Famuan, she added: "I recommend online dating to all my peers because setting up profiles and having people view them takes a lot of the middle work out of relationships and dating."
Ms Neufville added it is really handy to have a synopsis of who a person is before even speaking to them.
She also has friends who are now married after meeting online, which shows that the medium can be very successful.
In terms of what people should be looking to put on a dating profile, some personal information is vital, while hobbies and interests should also be included alongside a flattering photo.
