Deep-fried lasagne burger unveiled by US eatery

You can get your hands on some strange food creations these days.

Obviously everyone knows about deep-fried Mars bars and pizzas, but another bizarre culinary delight has been added to the list.

California-based eatery Grill 'Em All has unveiled the deep-fried lasagne burger, which has been dubbed The Manowar.

It consists of ricotta cheese spread, marinara sauce, spinach, a cheesy 7oz burger patty and a deep-fried slice of lasagne, which makes it something of a titanic meal.

This calorific treat is not for the faint hearted and although it is certainly Olympic sized, I can't imagine too many athletes will be tucking in to it.

No doubt your arteries will take something of a pounding if you decide to eat this burger, but I'm sure it will prove to be popular.

Part of the reason is that people love a challenge and so individuals will be flocking from all over the state to have a crack at it.
