There is nothing worse than going on holiday and the accommodation not being up to scratch.

It can really put a downer on proceedings, no matter how beautiful the location is.

A new building has been put on top of Mount Blanc mountain range in Italy that looks pretty scary to me.

The structure is designed to act as a safety pod for weary climbers and comes with bunk beds, a kitchen, dining room, storage racks and a living room.

While it does boast stunning views over the Fribouze Glacier, half of it dangles some 1,000 ft in the air.

A spokesman for the designers stated: "There were some difficulties building the new refuge, given the altitude and the position in the midst of a glacier, but we got there in the end."

It will cost £23 a night, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather keep my credit card in my wallet.
