Man threatens to shoot neighbour after he farts

Despite what people may say, everyone farts from time to time.

Sometimes you just can't hold it in and it's nothing to be ashamed of.

However, a 47-year-old man from New Jersey was given quite a shock after his neighbour threatened to shoot him over his flatulence.

The bizarre set of events occurred when Daniel Collins took out a silver revolver and aimed it at the head of the person who lives next door.

Apparently Mr Collins said "I'm going to put a hole in your head" after he grew weary of the man farting in front of his house.

As a result of the outburst, he has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and terroristic threats.

The argument stems from a different dispute about noise, but I'm sure the neighbour will think twice before he breaks wind again.
