Choosing to look for a partner online is now commonplace.
While in the past some people may have been wary of using this medium to meet up with someone, relationship coach Maeve Crawford thinks these days are long gone.
She stated that starting out can seem like a "daunting task", but individuals just need to take their time.
"Describe what you're looking for in a relationship, describe what you want in a partner [and] describe a little bit about who you are," Ms Crawford observed.
The expert went on to note that the more unique and authentic a person makes themselves seem, the better their chances are of striking up a long-lasting relationship.
As well as this, if things are not going well, do not be afraid to end any courtship.
People may find their chances of being successful with internet dating are increased by choosing to meet up with similar-minded individuals.
