Reese Witherspoon: Dating is “nerve-wracking”

Reese Witherspoon finds dating to be a "nerve-wracking" experience and would use social media sites to investigate anyone she planned to meet.

Speaking to the Independent, the actress observed she would have no qualms doing a bit of research on a prospective partner.

"It's a benefit and a curse having social media at your fingertips, where you can investigate the people you're dating," she added.

Witherspoon – who has been married twice and has two children – observed relationships are hard work and both people have to be ready for it to be successful.

She continued by saying singletons have to be prepared to compromise if they want to create a long-lasting bond with a member of the opposite sex.

People who are looking to meet that special someone could look to use online dating, as it is a fast and convenient way of getting in contact with like-minded individuals.
