A youth music band has raised £25,000 for Help for Heroes by staging a series of gigs.
Music Machine – from Grantham – are the brainchild of Paul and Katie Wilson, the Grantham Journal reports.
The husband and wife team organise the events and their will be a special Christmas concert on December 19th at Meres Leisure Centre.
Tickets for the event are priced at £8 and there will also be a raffle to collect as much money as possible.
Individuals who attend can expect to hear Christmas classics such as All I Want for Christmas, In the Bleak Midwinter and Once in Royal David's City.
It comes after Rochdale Online revealed a charity concert held in Rochdale collected over £8,000 for Help for Heroes.
Vincent Simpson, local co-ordinator for the charity, said: "The good people of Rochdale can be assured that the money raised will be used in the way [they] want it to be used."
