What Does Cha/Char Mean?
Branch: British Army
Definition: Cha refers to a drink that we can cozy up to on one of the cooler days. If you had guessed tea then you’re most certainly correct. Across the world, tea is known by many names. From té to char, it comes with several monikers. Coincidently, char is also another word that is used to refer to tea in the army.
Example: I didn’t want things to move too fast so I ended up inviting my date to just a small café for a cuppa char, but we ended up spending hours there till the owners threw us out. We clicked a little too well.
