World’s biggest chocolate bar unveiled

I've seen some massive bits of chocolate in my time, but nothing as ridiculous as an effort by a group of people in Chicago.

Weighing in at over 12,000 lbs, the gigantic creation has officially been recognised as the biggest chocolate bar ever made by Guinness World Records.

Chicago company World's Finest Chocolate is behind the creation, which is 21 feet long and uses 1,200 lbs of almonds, 1,700 lbs of cocoa butter, 5,500 lbs of sugar, 1,400 lbs of chocolate liquor and 2,000 lbs of milk powder.

The confectionary was actually made as part of a campaign to educate US kids about the importance of eating the right portion sizes.

However, looking at the ample bar just makes me want to eat it.

It gives a whole new dimension to the phrase jumbo size and I will be interested to see if it tastes as good as it looks.
