Some people like to show off their flexibility, while others boast to their mates about an unusual talent they've picked up and honed.

But one thing that's sure to draw more gasps than anything else is having a third nipple on your foot.

A 22-year-old woman is said to have made medical history when she was found to have the unusual feature on her sole, the Sun reports.

Medics have confirmed that the small bump on the base of the female's foot is indeed an extra nipple, technically called supernumerary breast tissue or pseudomamma.

A report in scientific journal Dermatology Online states: "A 22-year-old woman sought medical care for a lesion in the plantar region of her left foot, a well-formed nipple surrounded by areola and hair."

Fans of US comedy Friends might remember Chandler's insecurities about the third nipple that formed on his chest.
