Busy members of the armed forces may often find the bespoke information they need on a day-to-day basis is not widely available on the internet.

But the Citizens Advice Bureau has come to the rescue and launched a brand new information service for serving members of the armed forces and their families.

Whether it’s pensions, housing, health or finances that people need to know about, it can all be found on Adviceguide.co.uk.

"Those who are serving or have served and their families need bespoke information as they are often entitled to dedicated forms of assistance and require advice on specialist topics," says Joel Phillips, project manager at Citizens Advice.

Furthermore, the dedicated resource will also give people access to more niche advice, such as how to receive reduced travel costs and details of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.

The advice offered by the bureau is confidential, impartial, free and independent.
