Our army men and women never really stop fighting for us. Proving this specific point is Paul Ahmed – a British Army veteran who has a soft spot for underprivileged children.\n\nIn May this year, Ahmed will be running over 130 miles to raise money for the Charlie Cookson Foundation, over the course of five days. The foundation was setup by the parents Sarah and Chris in memory of their son, who died in 2013.\n\nThe organization puts its support behind parents who are struggling with medical bills and need to get treatment for their children. Who better to help them than Ahmed? The 32-year-old became a personal trainer after his stint in the forces. The money from his efforts goes directly into their medical bills.\n\nAhmed is looking to raise more than £1,000.\n\nThings like this is a reminder for us that our vets are possibly some of the strongest people we will ever come across. Ahmed is dedicating a chunk of his days to a cause that will definitely cause a ripple effect. We expect more people to join in in his efforts and wish him the best of luck!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
