Forces Penpals was launched in 2002 as an old fashioned letter writing service for the British armed forces. Letters were lovingly chosen by hand and sent to specific people out on deployment in Iraq at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The response was tremendous and the original owner soon found that she was struggling with the demand, so she realised she had to have a website built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Forces Penpals went live 12 months later, 1st November 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
