This is according to a study by Diane Kholos Wysocki from the University of Nebraska and Cheryl Childers from Washburn University, who published their findings in Springer's journal Sexuality and Culture.<\/p>\n
They commented: "Our research suggests that as technology changes, the way people find each other and the way they attract a potential partner also changes."<\/p>\n
Despite many individuals striking up a relationship thanks to the web, there is also a balance between this platform and real life meetings.<\/p>\n
The authors suggested everybody needs physical, face-to-face contact at some point during their partnership, regardless of how much time they spend interacting online.<\/p>\n
UK digital champion Martha Lane Fox recently told the Sun she is proud of how Britons are embracing technology, with 30 million people using the web for many of their everyday activities – including dating.<\/p>\n
