Single soldiers keen to boost their fitness should look into buying new trainers.<\/p>\n
That is the advice of Jon Lipsey, editor of Men's Fitness magazine, who suggests: "Wearing the right footwear can make you perform better and will also help you enjoy what you're doing because they'll reduce your chances of getting injured."<\/p>\n
Individuals who enjoy heading off on a long run would be wise to get something that has plenty of cushioning, although sprinters may need shoes that are lightweight.<\/p>\n
It is a good idea to head to a specialist at a running shop, as they should be able to assess the consumer's technique and decide what item is best for them.<\/p>\n
Socks should also be take into account, as the wrong ones could leave people with painful blisters to deal with, Mr Lipsey warns.<\/p>\n
Some 77 per cent of individuals confess they do not wear shoes designed for the sport they are taking part in, according to the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.<\/p>\n
