Simon Marston says he saw Izzard battling to finish his 43-marathon task in 51 days in aid of Sport Relief.<\/p>\n
"Help for Heroes, which I’m hoping to raise £2,000 for, is a fantastic charity helping wounded servicemen and women," he explains.<\/p>\n
Mr Marston worries boredom could be his greatest problem, but his sons are set to join him on the final day in a bid to provide companionship.<\/p>\n
He has also made sure his walking boots are comfortable by wearing them before the hike.<\/p>\n
The mission begins on June 25th and the ex-serviceman says he is amazed by all the support shown by locals.<\/p>\n
Another comedian to have taken on a challenge for Sport Relief is David Walliams, who swam across the English Channel to raise money for the charity.<\/p>\n
